Packing List!
So, I consider myself an expert for Christian youth camps in the UK. And this is my go-to packing list for a five-day camp!
o Pyjamas (winter ones are better than shorts and t-shirts because camping in England gets super cold at night)
o Jumper/ hoodie x2 (at least two because you will want one for night and one for day)
o Sweatpants (again, you will need these for those chilly nights. Layers will be your best friend)
o Shorts x2 (this obviously depends on the weather. But as a general rule, bring at least two pairs of shorts)
o Tops x8 (Trust me, you will need more than one per day. At limitless there are so many activities and a lot of them end up with you being very messy!)
o Trousers x4 (at least 4!)
o Pants/underwear (make sure you bring a few spares too!)
o Socks (at least nine pairs and one fluffy/cosy pair for night-time)
o Pillow (one that you don’t mind getting damp)
o Sleeping bag and tent
o Inflatable Bed (definitely spend the extra money and get an inflatable bed over a sleeping pad)
o Folding camping Chair (This will be one of your favourite things - I guarantee)
o Toiletries
o Crocs/flipflops (so that you can wear them in the shower)
o Shoes one nice, one old to get muddy
o Towel (if you have a micro-fibre/quick drying one bring that)
o Waterproof coat (it doesn’t have to be a thick winter one, it just needs to be waterproof and easy to throw on)
o Torch (it gets dark in the tent at night and having a torch that you can attach to the side of the top is a lifesaver)
o Umbrella
o Sunglasses
o Bible
o Notebook
o Water bottle
o Pocket money (all meals are usually covered in the cost of the ticket or funded by your youth group but there is always merch and snacks that you can buy so make sure you have money for that!)
